I’m making this video to answer one of the more common questions I hear from some of my readers, subscribers and teammates whether they are just starting out with their online business or if they’ve have been around the block for a while is..”Where do I find more customers?” or “Where should I go to find new customers after my warm market has completely dried up?”
These are valid questions because I know that for the longest time I struggled to find more people to look at my opportunity and my business once I completely exhausted my warm market.
I get it. It doesn’t take long to burn through your warm market or get completely discouraged especially after hearing enough of your friends and family either say, no..or is this one of them pyramid scams or that you are just wasting your time and money. I know exactly how you feel.
I’ve been there and done that.
But don’t fall into that trap and quit just yet. Don’t walk away from your dream of being a lifestyle entrepreneur because a few people who don’t know anything turned you away or made you feel dumb.
Believe me. If I quit every time somebody told me I was wasting my time or that I was crazy or made me feel dumb for doing what I was doing, I would be living on a park bench by now eating Cheetos for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You have to be stronger and better than that. Your dreams and vision for living the lifestyle that this business represents has to be greater than what a few people say to you or even say about you.
Although it is very important to reach out to your warm market, like friends and family, and let them know what you are up to and about your new business, you have to also realize that there will be a few of your so called loved one’s who are going to think you are crazy and try to talk you out of what you are doing.
Politely listen to what they have to say, say thank you and just leave it there.
When it comes to business, you have to detach yourself from the outcome. As they say “Marry the process and divorce the results”.
Do not, under any circumstances, get caught up in whether you get a “yes” or a “no.” Being “needy” sets you up for failure. You are there to do one thing and one thing only…To provide your prospects with a solution to their problems.
If your warm market doesn’t understand that, then you have no business doing business with them anyway. Kindly say thank you for their time and walk away. More is less in this case.
Talking to and pitching your warm market about your business and opportunity is stressful and uncomfortable and frankly I just don’t do it anymore. I have definitely found a better way to recruit and prospect and today it is my pleasure to share that with you.
